Students with a valid Disabled placard or tag, or with limited mobility may park in the Teal lot by the Fifth Third Bank Stadium (see map below). These limited spaces will be provided on a first come, first served basis. If this lot is full, all other lots have designated spaces for accessible parking and can be used by vehicles with a handicap parking permit.
There will be shuttles from the Teal lot to Field 3 where you will check in before your ceremony. You must be checked in no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony. Students who check in after the ceremony has begun will not be allowed to participate.
After the ceremony is over, students should return to Field 3 where a shuttle will take them back to the Teal lot.
The Teal lot (see map below) will be reserved for ADA accessible and limited mobility parking only. These limited spaces will be provided on a first come, first served basis. If this lot is full, all other lots have designated spaces for accessible parking and can be used by vehicles with a handicap parking permit.
The Big Owl Bus (BOB) will be shuttling guests from the Teal lot to Gate B where they will be dropped off to enter the stadium. After the ceremony is over, the buses will pick up from Gate B to return guests to the Teal lot.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Guests
Real-time captions and Sign Language Interpreting Services will be provided at all ceremonies. Captioning will be displayed on large screens on either side of the main stage. There will be a designated section for guests using sign language interpreting services. For guest tickets in this section, contact Bonna Lenyszyn at email@example.com for the promo code. Students must use this promo code when selecting their tickets beginning April 5th.
Accessible Seating for Guests with Disabilities and Limited Mobility
ADA seating is available throughout the stadium. Due to high demand, these areas are strictly reserved for our ADA patrons and up to three guests. Students must designate they need ADA seating when selecting their tickets beginning April 5th. (link to tickets page)
On-site wheelchairs are NOT available. Guests with difficulty walking are strongly encouraged to view the livestream on https://commencement.kennesaw.edu/ or bring their own wheelchair and have their student request ADA seating when he or she submits their ticket request. Wheelchairs are commonly available for short-term rental from medical supply stores and some pharmacies.
Face coverings (over the nose and mouth) are required for all guests. Guests are required to have face coverings for ingress, egress, and movement throughout the stadium, as well as any time guests are unable to maintain the recommended physical distance from others who are not in their same household.
If you require additional accommodations relating to a disability, please call (470) 578-2666 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Our top priority is an enjoyable experience for all our guests.
